BLEEDING PLIERS DIT PIN
The pliers DIT PIN enables us to slaughter and bleed the birds, preventing them from suffering. The bleeding pliers is composed of a blade to pierce the bird’s nerve centres in the palate and a concave part to position its head.
Use: open the bird’s beak, insert the blade into its throat. The blade must be in a vertical position, so that the concave part of the pliers be on the head. The blade tip is positioned at the very bottom of the bird’s throat. Firmly close the bleeding pliers. The blade cuts the artery and touches the nerve centres. The bleeding process is rapid and the muscle relaxation makes the plucking phase easier. Leave the bird in the bleeding cone (to be bought separately) for a few minutes. Clean the pliers after each use.
